Tonight's Oneg is presented by the Sisterhood


The dedication labels for the new prayer books, Mishkan T’fillah, are now ready for use.
Please contact Nora Schor 458-7855 or Merle Nudel 281-5573 if you would like to dedicate a prayer book on honor of or in memory of a loved one.
The cost of the dedication is $25.  Please include the following information:
• Name of person being honored or remembered.
• Whether it is in honor of or in memory of that person.
• Your name.

Saturdays – 10:30am: Torah study classes conducted by Rabbi Buchen every Saturday morning.

Saturdays – 9:30am to 12:30: Temple Beth Shalom Religious School every Saturday morning.

Sunday December 21st - 5:30pm: Chanukah party. Come for Latkes and light the first candle of Chanukah together as a Temple Family.

Saturday January 17th: Honoree Banquet at Palmetto Pine Country Club honoring Steve & Suzie Hershfield and Marty Burnette. More details will be available shortly.

Wednesday March 18th: A Night of Magic. Details to follow.

Sunday March 29th: Temple Family Picnic at Jaycee Park in Cape Coral. Details will be announced shortly.

Saturday May 2nd: Join the Social Activities Committee for the Broadway Palm Dinner Theater presentation of "the Wedding Singer." Details to follow.

Attention All Bowlers. The TBS Brotherhood Bowling League will be bowling at 10:00am on Sundays as follows:

MM April 19 - Annual banquet. Details as to time and place will be announced at a later date.

Shofar Advertising: If you know someone who might want to advertise in the Shofar please have them call Marsha Petrone at 910-2425 or send an email to mishpet9@aol.com

Social Action Committee: The committee is looking for suitcases, backpacks and large tote bags for foster kids so they can move their clothing in something other than garbage bags.  Bring them to the Temple and we will get them were they are most needed.

Say It With Flowers Fundraiser is in full swing. Remember to sell your cards and return your money to Carin Hanan.  Call Naomi 573-0908 or Suzy 770-5896 if you have questions or need more cards.

Sisterhood’s Food-to-Go: The Sisterhood is now offering a variety of take-home foods. Menus and gift cards are available by contacting Nora Schor or Karen Cutler.

Temple Caring Committee: If you need assistance regarding transportation to the Temple or visiting a health care provider due to illness, please contact Leah Skinner at 772-3106.

MiSheberach Cards: Please inform Myer and Doris Bloomston at 466-7363 if you are aware of anyone who is sick so that a MiSheberach card can be sent to them from the congregation and from Rabbi Buchen. This is a free service. If, on the other hand, you would like to send a personal card to anyone, you can arrange this by calling Myer and Doris and donating $3.00 to the Temple .

Mah Jongg welcomes card players too. Members as well as non-members are invited to join us on Wednesday afternoons from noon to 3:30pm. Mah Jongg players also meet on Tuesday evening from 7:15 to 9:00pm. Contact Audrey Sands at 543-4288.

Buyforcharity.com is an online shopping portal dedicated to raising money for charitable organizations. Sign up on Temple Beth Shalom's site so we get credit for everything you purchase. Coupons and specials allow you to save money on your purchases while raising money for the Temple . Flyers in the lobby explain the process. Quick and easy, give it a try!

TBS Food Drive:  Food and sundry items are being split between The Suncoast Neighborhood Center in North Fort Myers & the Cape Coral Caring Center.  This is being coordinated by the Social Action Committee. Contributions non-perishable foods and sundry items like soaps, deodorant, and diapers are needed for people in our community who are going through hard times in general and need a helping hand. Your continuing generosity is greatly appreciated by all. And remember, you are doing a mitzvah! Thank you!

Credit Card Payments: The Temple now accepts payments by Visa and Master Card for purchases from the gift shop, dues, donations, etc. Vouchers are available in the office or see Steve Hershfield.
