We are a “house of prayer for all people,” worshiping in the progressive traditions of Reform Judaism. Everyone is valued and makes a difference. Our congregation welcomes all who are seeking to experience Judaism’s universal spiritual ideals regardless of religious background, with many interfaith families. Our worship is accessible and embraces our many different spiritual paths and we encourage active participation. We focus on sharing Jewish values as we confront the challenges of life and the issues of our society.

As you experience and explore Temple Beth Shalom, you will learn how we are striving to apply the insights of our faith as we face life’s joys and trials; strengthen our ties to our families, friends, and our broader community; and deepen our commitment to interfaith understanding, justice and peace. If being part of a caring, personal congregation is important in your search for a spiritual home, we may be right for you!

Shabbat Services

A Kabbalat Shabbat service is held at 7:30 pm every Friday evening in the newly remodeled sanctuary and on Zoom. The service welcoming Shabbat is joyous, filled with song and celebration. Our prayer book is the Reform Siddur, Mishkan T’Filah.

Following Shabbat services, we gather in the Social Hall for Oneg Shabbat, a warm and relaxed time to spend with friends who feel like family.
The specific parashat for each Shabbat is included in the weekly announcements and includes a short summary.
